Meet Rebecca Staats

Meet Rebecca Staats

Becca was born in Chippewa Falls & graduated from High School in nearby Cumberland. She and her husband have recently moved back to the Chippewa Valley in order to be closer to their families.

Professionally Becca has been a part of the Hospitality Industry for 15 years. She began her career as a Sales Coordinator at the Holiday Inn Arden Hills, MN after earning her Associate’s Degree in Hospitality at the Minneapolis Business College in 2002. As part-time work she was a Banquet Server, Bartender and eventually a full-time Banquet Captain at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park, MN. In 2006 Becca joined the Hilton Minneapolis team where she held various positions in Revenue Management, Catering and Event Services. In 2010, she moved to Chicago and worked at the Hilton Chicago Airport as a Senior Event Mgr and in 2012 started at the Historic Drake Hotel as a Senior Sales Mgr. While working full-time in Chicago, she also earned her Bachelor’s Degree in general studies with a concentration in Management from Eastern Illinois University and traveled the U.S. selling The Drake. In early 2016 she became part of the team that successfully opened the Lismore Hotel, purchased a home with her husband here in June and just joined the Metropolis Resort & Conference Center team in Jan 2017.
